Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description :

Comal Services is looking for a Mid / Senior Geotechnical Engineer responsible for assessing and analyzing soil, rock, groundwater, and other conditions to determine their impact on construction projects. They design and implement solutions for foundations, earthworks, and other geotechnical aspects, ensuring the stability and safety of structures.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Carry out geotechnical assessments : Conduct site explorations, lab tests, and analyses to evaluate the properties of soil and rock.
• Design foundations and soil structures : Create designs for foundation systems, retaining walls, and other earthwork structures.
• Prepare detailed reports : Document findings, analyses, and recommendations in comprehensive technical reports.
• Provide technical assistance : Offer support in the design and construction phases of infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects : Supervise geotechnical projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within the allocated budget.
• Collaborate with engineering teams : Work alongside civil, structural, and environmental engineers.
