We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to lead and manage departmental IT processes, including production support, project management and delivery, and vendor management. This role plays a critical part in the planning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's technology infrastructure, encompassing computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and telecommunications. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence and ensure alignment with corporate and property-level technology objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Operational Leadership : Manage and execute IT operational processes, ensuring alignment with corporate and property goals and standards.
  • Strategic Planning : Collaborate with organizational leaders to develop and implement technology plans, procedures, and tactical goals.
  • Monitoring & Optimization : Track the utilization and performance of IT systems, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • User Support : Provide end-user support and guidance. Triage IT requests by coordinating with Reboot or directly addressing issues when bandwidth allows.
  • Training & Education : Conduct training sessions and provide educational resources to staff, enhancing their understanding and utilization of technology tools.
  • Project Management : Oversee departmental IT projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Documentation : Ensure all IT processes and projects are well documented and current
  • Vendor & Partner Management : Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality support and service delivery.
  • Development & Property Collaboration : Partner with development and property management teams to support technology buildouts during new property developments and transitions to operational status.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • 5+ years of experience in networking (LAN / WAN, firewalls, VPN, wireless, and security protocols).
  • Demonstrated experience with project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms, enterprise software, and data governance.
  • Vendor management experience, including evaluating performance and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Familiarity with life sciences and biotech regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time, domestically and internationally to the EU.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and enterprise SSO solutions.
  • Experience in Meraki networking
  • Experience in Box or similar data storage solutions
  • Experience in access control and video security solutions such as Avigilon
  • Experience in cloud-based VoIP such as Zoom and Ring Central
  • Firm understanding of AV solutions and hardware
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools such as Freshservice.
  • Experience supporting IT needs for distributed teams across multiple locations.
  • Understanding of property IT infrastructure and facility management.
  • Understanding of building automation systems
  • The base compensation range for this role is $120,000-$140,000 annually.
