Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Director of Sales to join the LS Networks team! The Director of Sales will oversee operations across Washington and Oregon. Our primary market areas include the Tri-Cities, Bend, Willamette, and Corvallis areas. The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and developing the sales team across strategic vertical markets to drive revenue growth through both new customer acquisition and the management of existing accounts. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on sales expertise to build a high-performing team and achieve organizational goals.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting base salary of $134,000.00 - $176,500.00 (depending on experience).
Essential Functions
Leadership & Team Development :
- Lead, mentor, and develop sales managers and account executives to meet and exceed individual and team sales objectives.
- Establish equitable quotas and ensure fair distribution to maximize team performance.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to enhance team capabilities.
Strategic Sales Planning :
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market share goals.Align sales initiatives with organizational objectives in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team.Evaluate and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Revenue & Relationship Management :
Drive growth of the existing revenue base and cultivate opportunities for expansion across all product lines.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners to drive new and recurring business; this includes attending sales and customer appointments as required.Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Engineering, Operations) to ensure seamless pre-and post-sales processes.Performance Tracking & Reporting :
Monitor sales performance metrics and provide timely, accurate forecasts and reports to senior leadership.Utilize data-driven insights to adjust strategies and ensure alignment with revenue objectives.Oversee the sales funnel and pipeline management to achieve targeted outcomes.Market Engagement :
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and community initiatives to enhance brand visibility and establish local partnerships.Gather competitive and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.Qualifications
Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing sales teams.Proficiency in Salesforce, including implementation, reporting, pipeline management, and process optimization.Strong understanding of B2B and enterprise sales, including experience with telecommunications or technology products.Expertise in managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Financial and technical acumen, with the ability to develop and present data-driven insights.Experience with contract negotiations for large, complex deals.Experience in developing network solutions and working with third-party vendors.Participation in local business and technology groups.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.10+ years of sales experience, including a minimum of 5 years in strategic sales leadership roles.Working Conditions
