Billing Specialist

Automation Personnel Services is  see king  a  Billing Specialist   for a company based in  Hanover ,  MD .  This is a full-time position offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Pay Rate

2 1 .00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 : 3 0 am to 5 : 00 pm

Job Title Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a backup to the Billing Clerk, assisting with day-to-day billing processes.
  • Enter billing information accurately into customer portals and internal systems.
  • Follow up on open service tickets in customer portals to ensure timely processing and resolution.
  • Provide support to the Accounts Receivable (A / R) department by assisting with collection calls when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all billing-related transactions.
  • Assist with other billing-related administrative tasks as needed.

Job Title Qualifications  and  Requirements

  • Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar administrative roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
