Facilities include a renowned championship golf course, a full-service golf shop, driving range, practice facilities, halfway house, and Par 3 course : eight outdoor tennis courts incorporating two pickleball courts, tennis shop, a family pool complex with caf, junior Olympic size swimming pool and an active children's club.

Job description :

We are seeking an overnight security guard to add to our security team. Security personnel follow our policy and procedure manual to ensure the safety of members and staff alike.

Security staff actively secure the property, and perform rounds every two hours, using our security tracking application, to ensure all areas are monitored.

This includes locking up all buildings after staff have left, and arming burglar systems. Periodic checks of the golf course are also required. Security is to use cables to block entryways onto the property. This also includes identifying any facility issue and reporting immediately to maintenance personnel in the event of an emergency.

Security personnel utilize security cameras to monitor property while not on active rounds.

Unauthorized persons are to be cautiously approached, and tactfully asked to leave as the club is private property.

Security guards are unarmed, and must put safety first, reporting any incident to law enforcement to respond.

In addition, security staff must be courteous and assist members as they arrive at the club.

Requirements

Job Requirements :

Security experience preferred

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Must be able to use mobile phone application to record rounds and create / send security report daily

Attention to detail

Keeping security cell phone on persons and monitoring for calls / messages

Ability to pass a background / motor vehicle check

Must be able to drive security vehicle throughout premises

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a part-time position offered at $20-$22 / hour

Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked
