CONSULTANT RADIOLOGIST

We are looking for an analytical radiologist to join our team of medical professionals. As a radiologist, you will use your skills and various medical imaging techniques to produce visual representations of specific areas of the human body in order to diagnose medical problems and monitor treatment.

Responsibilities include :

• Performing and interpreting the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures including computer tomography (CT) and ultrasound.
• Reviewing and transmitting images and information using picture archiving and communications systems.
• Communicating examination results and diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, and families.
• Evaluating patients' medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
• Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques when necessary.
• Obtaining patients' histories from electronic records, patient interviews, dictated reports, and by communicating with referring clinicians.
• Preparing comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
• Providing counseling to radiologic patients to explain the processes, risks, benefits, and alternative treatments.
• Processing X-rays in a timely manner to assist physicians with the diagnostic process.
• Following state and medical regulations and guidelines at all times when handling patient images.
