A prominent provider of commercial jet engine used serviceable material (USM), specializing in engine support and tailored solutions for clients.
This company offers a range of services, including material support for engine shop visits, engine procurement and managed disassembly, material purchasing and consignment, and engine and component repair.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TECHNICAL RECORDS TECHNICIAN :
Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of engine components, and engine records, including lease return, post lease inspection, pre-purchase, and shop visit documents.
- Perform back to birth trace on life limited parts, engines, landing gears and APU.
- Provide support to Operations, Sales, Project Managers and Repair Departments by assisting with records related requests and research requirements.
- Audit compliance of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to ensure correct / current status is reflected in record files and records management database.
- Understands Back to Birth LLP trace regulatory and regional requirements including how particular ADs and SBs affect the life limit of LLPs.
- Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and records.
- Manage priorities and tasks on a day to day basis.
- Ensure activities / projects / tasks are completed within agreed timescales / deadlines and reported to the relevant managers.
- Identify and resolve record deficiencies, to include track request and upload corrected records and discrepancy reports.
- Distribute and retain documents as required by the company and FAA policy.
- Communicate with Project Managers, Lease Return Coordinators, lessees / operators, customers and / or MROs to obtain required records.
- Organize and scan engine, gear, APU, and aircraft records.
- Work with existing working practices and procedures, but provide ideas and suggestions for improvement when required
- Complete other assignments and projects as directed by the Supervisor and / or Upper Management.
