The Resident Care Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and is responsible for maintaining the nursing department's schedule.
Summary of Job Duties :
- Utilizes the electronic scheduling system to create and maintain all nursing staff scheduling
- Serves as the main point of contact for all newly hired nursing personnel
- Meets with residents newly admitted to Skilled and Transitional Care Units, and their families, and welcomes them and assists with their transition into the community
- Will perform direct resident care as needed
Requirements :
Must be IDPH Certified Nursing AssistantMust be CPR certifiedMust possess good computer skills, including solid working knowledge of ExcelMust possess excellent communication, problem solving, time management and customer service skillsPrevious scheduling experience in a long term care setting, or comparable experience, preferredExperience with OnShift a plusDemonstrates caring and compassionate natureCandidate must be a team player and have a positive outlookFull-time employee benefits include :
