Software & Web Development Intern (Onsite role based in Allen, TX)

Castelion is building next-generation hypersonic missile systems to bring peace through deterrence. As we rapidly develop and scale, we are seeking a highly motivated Software & Web Development Intern to support our software and infrastructure efforts. This role provides an opportunity to work on real-world engineering challenges, collaborating closely with our engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain internal web applications and dashboards to support engineering and test operations.
Assist in building and optimizing software infrastructure, including cloud-based tools and automation.
Support database management, API development, and front-end / back-end web services.
Collaborate with engineers to improve workflow efficiency and software toolsets.
Troubleshoot and debug software and web applications as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field .

Experience with web development technologies such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, or Flask / Django .

Knowledge of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, or MongoDB) .

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI / CD tools is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Interest in aerospace, defense, or high-performance computing is a bonus.

ITAR Requirements :
