Job description

Role Name : Senior SQL & PL / SQL Developer (Mortgage Servicing)

Location : Coppell, TX

Role Description :

This key role will be responsible for :

  • System Analysis : Deep dive into existing mortgage servicing systems to understand data flows and dependencies.
  • Data Analysis : Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • SQL Expertise : Develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, including stored procedures, functions, and views.
  • Reverse Engineering : Deconstruct existing stored procedures and complex SQL queries to understand their logic and functionality.

Competencies :

  • Mortgage Servicing Domain Expertise : Strong understanding of US Mortgage Servicing processes and systems.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019 : Proficiency in SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
  • PL / SQL : Expertise in PL / SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • IT IS_AMS_Database_MS SQL Server : Experience with this specific database environment is a plus.

    • Experience :

    6-8 years of relevant experience in SQL Server development and data analysis.

    Essential Skills :

  • PL / SQL Proficiency : Strong command of PL / SQL programming language.
  • SQL Code Analysis & Reverse Engineering : Ability to analyze and understand complex SQL code, including stored procedures.
  • Data Object Expertise : In-depth knowledge of database objects such as stored procedures, views, and triggers.
  • US Mortgage Domain Knowledge : Solid understanding of the US Mortgage Servicing industry.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
