Job description

ARTISAN PASTRY BAKER

Easy Tiger, one of Austin’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking a Pastry Baker to join our team!

REPORTS TO :   Pastry Lead Baker

SALARY / GRADE LEVEL :   Hourly / Non-Exempt

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :

  • Croissant and Danish lamination
  • Mixing various doughs and fillings
  • Shaping pastries including croissants, Danish and cinnamon knots
  • Keep track of production needs
  • Maintaining cleanliness
  • Put away delivery orders consisting of 50# bags of flour and other items

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
  • Ability to read recipes and knowledge of math in weighing and mixing precise quantity of ingredients
  • Previous bakery experience is a plus, but not required
  • Passion for quality food & hospitality
  • Team player with a friendly disposition towards a positive workplace
  • Strong work ethic and reliable
  • Current Texas Food Handlers certification
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work standing for 8+ hours
