Position : LIMS LabVantage Developer (100% Remote)

Location : 100% Remote

Duration : 6-12 months

Job Description :

This person will serve as Developer on a project to fully integrate all lab instrumentation with LabVantage and must have extensive experience within instrument integrations, having used SDMS prior. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years LabVantage v8 development with multiple instrument integration projects to include bidirectional integrations, extensive SQL expertise, (in LabVantage SQL Database), prior SDMS deployment / management, and LabVantage Master Data. Opportunity offers ideal candidate a year-long remote contract with likely extensions.

Requirements

3+ years LabVantage LIMS development v8 to extensive instrument integrations, utilizing LV SDMS and Java.
Hands-on configurations, LV Actions / Tasks, and Master Data expertise.
Expertise in LV to reboot applications and log file interpretation, while liaising with LabVantage direct to help identify issues and conduct performance tuning.
Development expertise in Java, JavaScript and Oracle SQL Database.
Familiarity / knowledge of technical tools including JasperSoft, Bartender, and Groovy.
A history of utilizing LV SDMS within Bidirectional integrations specifically.
LV Reflex module is highly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Leading build deployments within LV LIMS v8.8 including a large instrument integration project.

Setting up and utilizing Bidirectional and SDMS / ELN / LES integrations, to include simple / complex instruments.

Working with LV 8.8 Web Page Designer to expose fields (query modifications, etc.).

Importing targeted master data from one application environment into another.

Customizing / enhancing LV to include hands-on configurations, new feature build, and master data creation.

Performing LV LIMS 8.8 troubleshooting / fixes including application reboots, log file interpretations and liaising with LV direct to implement solutions.

Working with SQL Management Studio to troubleshoot LV SQL database and create simple / complex database queries.

Working with CoA setup using Jaspersoft to include reporting and subreporting.

Utilization of Bartender set-up for label printing.

Creating, editing, and deploying stored procedures.

Managing SQL Jobs and creating new tables within database as needed.

Working extensively with the set-up of the Reflex module.

Opportunity to work on the latest version of LabVantage 8.8.
