Position Overview
Tonna is seeking a results-driven HVAC / Plumbing Sales person to join our team in Southern Minnesota. This individual will be responsible for expanding Tonna's market presence and driving revenue growth by cultivating new client relationships and strengthening existing ones. This role focuses on generating new business, identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, and delivering exceptional customer experiences to align with Tonna's core values and brand promises.
Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation :
- Proactively identify and pursue potential customers through cold calling, networking, and leveraging social media platforms.
- Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans to reach decision makers in residential and commercial markets.
- Build a robust pipeline of self-generated leads and opportunities.
2. Sales Execution :
Meet or exceed an annual sales quota by effectively managing the sales process from prospecting to closing.Deliver sales presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients.Provide accurate proposals for installations, upgrades, and maintenance services.3. Collaboration :
Utilize 30% qualified leads provided by the marketing team to supplement 70% self-generated efforts.Work closely with Tonna's teams to ensure alignment on sales goals, customer needs, and service offerings.4. Relationship Building :
Cultivate long-term relationships with customers through excellent service and follow-ups.Develop strong trust-based relationships with new and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquires and support through the sales cycle.5. Industry Research / Expertise :
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, rebate programs, and emerging technologies to adjust sales strategies.Educate customers on provided proposals to help them make informed decisions.6. Reporting and CRM Management :
Track and report on sales activities, market feedback, and client satisfaction to management.Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.Compensation and Benefits Commission :

1. Education and Experience
High School diploma required; associates degree or certification in business, sales or HVAC preferred.3+ years of experience in B2B or B2C sales, preferably in HVAC, construction or home service industry.Demonstrate ability to self-generate leads and close high value deals.2. Skills and Attributes
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong prospecting and cold calling skills.Ability to work independently and self-motivated.Highly organized and capable of managing multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously.Entrepreneurial mindset with a competitive drive to exceed sales targets.Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.Salary Description
