IT Business Manager
Houston, TX (Onsite 3 days per week)

Salary : $130k-$140k
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a strategic partner by translating data insights into meaningful business decisions.
- Utilize SAP Finance Module to pull and analyze data.
- Conduct SAP data mining (e.g., purchase orders, requirements) to extract and present key information to the C-suite.
- Develop a deep understanding of business performance, identifying trends, explaining variances, and categorizing root causes.
- Lead performance and metric tracking initiatives to drive improvements.
- Interpret and translate Power BI reports (no need to build reports; a dedicated team handles that).
- Work with Smartsheet (basic understanding is preferred, as this is a new tool for the team).
- Oversee and mentor a junior analyst while fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Assist with budgeting, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost tracking.
- Track capital and operational expenses (CapEx & OpEx ) for IT projects.
Qualifications :
Senior or lead-level experience, ideally in a role involving business analysis, finance, or IT strategy.Strong understanding of business operations, financial metrics, and data storytelling.Experience with SAP Finance Module and data mining techniques.Ability to effectively communicate data insights and business impact to executive leadership.Familiarity with Power BI (reading and interpreting reports) and Smartsheet.Financial Analysis & Accounting : Understanding of IT finance, cost structures, and accounting principles..IT Asset Management (ITAM) Tool s : Tracking IT hardware and software costs.Financial Forecasting & Variance Analysi s : Evaluating financial performance over time.Understanding of IT Operations : Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software, cloud services, and digital transformation.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
