Virginia Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage

A Large Hospital is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Virginia.

This hospital-employed position involves providing acute and episodic care, including hospital and long-term care rehab rounding within an hour's distance. The facility features a craft room, memory care, therapy gym, garden, day room, and office space. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with patient visits completed by 3 PM, though travel to assisted living or skilled nursing facilities may be required. Providers see an average of 3 to 9 patients per day, allowing for extended one-on-one time. Call is 1 : 4, primarily telephonic, and initially handled by an experienced RN. Teaching opportunities are also available.
