Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather, weigh and blend materials.
- Maintain supply of raw materials to machines (raw material, colors, etc.)
- Grind material, label regrind, keep grinding area organized and clean.
- Assists in purging machines and cleaning magnets in the hopper throat.
- Connect vacuum system to supply material to machines.
- Document movement of materials and complete all required paperwork.
- Gather lot control information for Quality Control.
- Help to monitor inventory levels and advise inventory control of low volumes.
- Check equipment (blenders, dye feeders, grinders, etc).
- Unload bulk resin trailers.
- Keep work area clean and maintain proper housekeeping and sanitation.
- Maintains safety in the department.
- Perform other warehousing and related tasks.
Food Safety Responsibilities
Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards.Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and document data correctly at all times.Ensure all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after any job completion.Report any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product toQuality and / or Line / Maintenance Supervision.

Education and Experience
