Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Consult Liaison Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both psychiatry and collaborative care, with a focus on providing high-quality psychiatric consultations in a hospital setting.

Opportunity Highlights :

  • The consult liaison team will consist of a psychiatrist, an advanced practice provider, a licensed therapist and a care specialist. This team will work together to ensure that providers are able to function as efficiently as possible while maintaining remarkable care
  • 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • Ability to teach Novant Health Psychiatric Residents

Candidate Qualifications :

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

    • Responsibilities & Duties :

  • Patient population : All Ages
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide timely assessments for inpatients
  • Collaborative approach with medical and surgical teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Provide supervision and mentorship of psychiatric residents and medical students
