We are looking for an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) Field Technician to undertake a variety of tasks including but not limited to : preventive UPS and battery system maintenance UPS startup management of field technicians for startup and integration of systems supporting UPS such as static transfer switches (STS) and battery monitoring work associated with installation of new UPS systems and battery replacements and reconfigurations and other work relating to setting up and maintaining electrical UPS infrastructure. Your job will involve emergency callout to troubleshooting malfunctions and outages and determine solution to bring system(s) back online. This is a remote position and open to candidates living anywhere in the Nation. Candidates will be required to travel for each job as the company works Internationally.

UPS Requirements :

• Strong working knowledge in UPS brands for example Toshiba Liebert GE Powerware Mitsubishi MGE APC and Powervar.
• Must have 35 years of UPS field experience military background is preferred but not required
• Proficient in advanced troubleshooting for diagnosing faults on the UPS system
• Ability to sustain a significant travel commitment and willingness to work various shifts and respond to emergency calls as necessary
• Passport valid Real ID drivers license proof of insurance and personal credit card for use while traveling (i.e. car rentals). Note : expenses will be reimbursed with timely submission of expense report.
• Capability to perform repetitive bending and lifting up to 100 pounds during certain services.
