Procurement Specialist

A company is looking for a Procurement Specialist who will manage contracts, vendor relationships, and market research to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage vendor relationships and resolve issues while maintaining stakeholder collaborationConduct market research and assist in the RFP process to identify alternative vendorsTrack cost savings and partner with finance to understand budgeted spend for each categoryRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance or supply chain management, or 5+ years of procurement / sourcing experience in lieu of a degreeAt least 2 years of experience with IT contract negotiationsProven experience negotiating various contract types with vendorsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysisAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
