ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Corporate Communications Specialist creates strategic, integrated communications that build awareness, drive engagement, and strengthen our corporate brand. As part of our Corporate Communications team within the Marketing department, you'll create content for financial institution clients and industry stakeholders. You'll collaborate across the organization to gather information about products, solutions, services, events, and announcements. Your content will inform, explain, promote, and persuade based on campaign objectives, while working with the Creative team on graphical, digital, and social components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation :
Create marketing collateral, emails, social media content, and copy for digital / print ads
Write standalone communications to targeted audiences, including operational and informational messages
Produce website content about company products for internal and external sites
Create thought leadership content, including executive-bylined articles, blog posts, case studies, and white papers
Develop communications and scripts for company executives
Research & Knowledge Building :
Conduct research and interviews to build strong knowledge of our products and value proposition
Maintain current knowledge of credit union industry trends and company strategic initiatives
Execution & Management :
Plan, write, edit, and distribute external communications supporting marketing initiatives
Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Process and manage email distribution lists using CRM database
Provide emergency communications coverage outside business hours if needed
Work with IT and web developers to ensure content functionality and accuracy
Collaboration & Quality Control :
Work closely with clients and subject matter experts, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
Provide editorial feedback to team members for quality control
Assist leadership in collecting and presenting performance metrics
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
Minimum 5 years of professional B2B writing experience
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Pardot, etc.)
Exceptional writing ability and professional editorial judgment
Proficiency in both long-form and short-form content development
Strong working knowledge of AP style
Ability to exercise initiative, discretion, and independent judgment
Experience in financial services and / or payments industry preferred
