Job description- Legal Assistant / Paralegal- Minimum 2 years of Personal Injury Experience

We are in search of a candidate(s) with a minimum of 2 years experience in Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation.
The applicant must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment that encompasses constant interaction with many people. We take great pride in doing the best job we can for each and every client.
Core Responsibilities :
1. Assist attorney and other legal assistants / paralegals with ongoing support, including case investigation, filing legal documents, drafting documents, etc.
2. Maintain verbal and written communication with clients on a daily basis
3. Correspond with insurance companies, healthcare providers, courts, and other parties affiliated with client cases
4. Keep track of client medical treatment and coordinate with attorney and paralegals to ensure case progress
5. Assist with the writing of various legal documents
6. Conduct telephone and in-person intake
7. Open and maintain electronic and paper case files
8. Maintain attorney agenda and work with an office diary system
Requirements :
Minimum 2 years Personal Injury / Workers' Compensation experience in a law office
Must be able to navigate Maryland Workers' Compensation CompHub
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail-oriented
Excellent organizational skills
Work well with others; a team player
Desire to learn and willingness to perform any additional tasks assigned
