Location : Hybrid (Torrance, CA & Remote)

Your Role : Training for Mastery

As an Associate Attorney at Mueller Christensen LLP, youll train under experienced attorneys (think of them as your Dumbledores) and gain hands-on experience in the following areas :

Civil Litigation

  • General liability defense;
  • Professional liability and fee disputes;
  • Breach of contract;
  • Business torts and corporation governance; and
  • Collections.

Probate Litigation

  • Probate administration;
  • Will contests;
  • Breach of fiduciary duty claims; and
  • Conservatorship proceedings.
  • What Were Looking For

    Were seeking a wizard-in-the-making, someone whos eager to learn and grow while contributing to our team. Key qualifications include :

  • Experience : 2 years of litigation experience, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
  • Education : Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school. Must be licensed to practice in California.
  • Skills : Strong legal research and writing skills, courtroom confidence, and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Personality : Youre curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. You see challenges as opportunities and are ready to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Extra Credit : Experience in professional liability and / or insurance defense litigation is a major plus (or an "Outstanding" on your O.W.L.s).

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. We offer a base salary of $140,000 based on 1,600 minimum billable hours, and you can earn fixed bonuses for hitting additional billing milestones above the minimum.
