Position Summary :
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing and inventory including selection of vendors.

- Negotiates pricing / quality / delivery requirements to provide appropriate inventory levels for all production facilities in alignment with specific production processes, machine capability / capacity and industry standards.
- Establishes primary metrics, data analyses and methodologies to drive clear decisions related to inventory quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Identify and implement cross-functional synergies, improvements and cost saving projects as it relates to purchasing and inventory management.
- Trouble-shoot purchasing and inventory issues, develop efficient / effective strategies for problem resolution and implementation
- Develop and execute reliable vendor selection strategy that aligns with short-term and long-term supply chain management / production control requirements.
- Develop and implement vendor performance metrics including spend review, vendor assessments, consolidation of vendor base, decision criteria for assessing needs for all material and services.
- Collaborates and communicates with cross-functional partners : Production, Finance, IT, HR, and Customer Service at each of the 3 locations.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years of supply chain and 2 years of Purchasing / Inventory Management experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Productions and a ERP.Demonstrated ability of excellent communication, listening skills and continuous improvement process improvement.Must have a high degree of self-motivation, ambition, and capability to work in a fast-paced environment.Drug Screen Only
