Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary :

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing and inventory including selection of vendors.

• Negotiates pricing / quality / delivery requirements to provide appropriate inventory levels for all production facilities in alignment with specific production processes, machine capability / capacity and industry standards.
• Establishes primary metrics, data analyses and methodologies to drive clear decisions related to inventory quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Identify and implement cross-functional synergies, improvements and cost saving projects as it relates to purchasing and inventory management.
• Trouble-shoot purchasing and inventory issues, develop efficient / effective strategies for problem resolution and implementation
• Develop and execute reliable vendor selection strategy that aligns with short-term and long-term supply chain management / production control requirements.
• Develop and implement vendor performance metrics including spend review, vendor assessments, consolidation of vendor base, decision criteria for assessing needs for all material and services.
• Collaborates and communicates with cross-functional partners : Production, Finance, IT, HR, and Customer Service at each of the 3 locations.
