POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides competent technical skills in the operation of equipment used to record electroencephalograms. Provides quality electroencephalographic examinations and ensures proper care and operation of equipment used. Provides long-term monitoring for epilepsy.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school graduation or equivalent is required. A minimum of one (1) year experience independently performing EEG procedures in a hospital or clinical setting is required; OR a minimum of one (1) year training and completion of required competency assessments in the UHS NDC as an EEG Technician Trainee.
