Job descriptionJD and active membership in good standing with a US state bar 7+ years of broad corporate legal experience, with significant exposure to healthcare industry (telehealth preferred) Strong background in 2+ of the following practice areas : corporate law, commercial contracts, healthcare regulations, telehealth law, privacy, compliance Track record of successfully managing cross-functional relationships Experience advising technology or healthcare startups through periods of rapid growth not required but preferred Demonstrated ability to operate independently while managing multiple competing priorities Serve as lead legal counsel on strategic initiatives Develop and implement comprehensive legal and compliance programs to support the company's rapid expansion across multiple states Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and clinical teams to develop scalable legal solutions that enable business growth Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and licensing arrangements Partner with the executive team to evaluate business opportunities and provide strategic counsel on risk management and legal implications Lead regulatory strategy and compliance efforts across telehealth regulations, privacy laws, healthcare fraud and abuse, and corporate practice of medicine Build and maintain relationships with outside counsel while managing legal spend and internal resources
