About this opportunity
We are on a journey towards building the future of wireless connectivity, and we want you on our team! As a part of establishing a new 5G Smart Factory in the U.S., we are hiring a Master Planner to perform supply chain process management.
What you will do :
- Perform supply chain process management including definition of planning strategies and detailed execution processes.
- Validate the demand forecast in order to secure the quality of the plan to be sent to the vendors. Analyze production capacity and capability needed in order to meet customer demand and ensure the plan is executed accordingly.
- Create and communicate production planning based on material availability and production capacity.
- Prepare scenario analyses for stakeholders in order to make strategic and tactical decisions.
- Run tactical dimensioning meetings and communicate plans and capacity to relevant Ericsson functions.
- Enable the dimensioning of resources to fulfill targets of lead time, delivery precision, cost, and capital.
- Monitor and report production output and risks, and align with the Global Supply Chain Management team.
- Support new product introduction and transfer product introduction projects with relevant activities and information for setting up new capabilities at the factory. Use the following technology and tools : SAP system (Modules : Materials Management, Production Planning, and Sales and Distribution), Tableau, and Excel.
- Conduct mathematical and statistical analysis.
- May require up to 10% international travel.
