PROGRAM DESCRIPTION :

Centuria Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the National Weather Service (NWS) Next Generation Radar (NEXRAD) Radar Operations Center (ROC) to join our team in Norman, OK. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing system design and requirements analysis for various projects. You will also be involved in feasibility analysis, cost / benefit analysis, and documentation for modifications and large-scale product improvement programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical writing and presentation skills, as well as a background in radar systems and equipment.

This position is based in Norman, Oklahoma, supporting the NWS NEXRAD Radar Operations Center. Candidates must be capable of working onsite and collaborating with diverse teams of engineers, scientists, and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide system design and requirements analysis for complex computer systems.
• Conduct feasibility, cost / benefit, and alternatives analysis for modifications and large-scale product improvement programs.
• Develop documentation including technical specifications, design documents, and system integration plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of hardware, software, and systems components.
• Perform system integration and testing activities to validate system functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system design, integration, and performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to computer systems and architecture.
