The Role of Subrogation Desk Appraiser : Desk appraisers will determine the scope and cost of repairs for damage caused by collision or other risks. The appraiser reviews estimates and / or photos of the damaged vehicle and works to reach a mutually acceptable settlement with the adverse insurance company or other party.

Primary Duties Include but are not Limited to : (

  • Review inbound demand for collision, total loss, and other material damage losses, making changes based on industry standard procedures.
  • Obtain agreement on scope and cost or repairs.
  • Ensure that repair estimates and supplements are properly documented as required.
  • Provide written reports on adjustments.

Skills & Requirements :

  • At least 2 years’ experience with CCC / Pathways or equivalent (Audatex, Mitchell, WebEst, etc.)
  • Experience as a body shop estimator, independent field appraiser, or insurance carrier staff appraiser.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Starting salary range :

    Annual base salary of $40,000 plus commissions. Salary may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
