About Us :

American Medical and Trade Institute partners with high schools to provide career-ready certification courses for juniors and seniors. We are currently seeking a qualified Instructor Assistant to support our Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), EKG, and Phlebotomy programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to mentor students and contribute to their professional growth.

Role Overview :

As an Instructor Assistant, you will work closely with the lead instructor to deliver hands-on training and support for high school students enrolled in the CMA, EKG, and Phlebotomy certification courses. Your expertise will help students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the lead instructor in delivering course materials and hands-on training.
  • Demonstrate proper techniques for medical assisting, EKGs, and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Provide one-on-one guidance to students needing additional support.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
  • Ensure the classroom and equipment are properly prepared for each session.

Qualifications :

  • Valid certifications in Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), EKG, and Phlebotomy .
  • Experience in a healthcare or educational setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for education and mentoring students.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the lead instructor and school staff.
