We are hiring a Demand Planner to join a top beauty company in St. Petersburg, FL. This position will run for 12 months with the potential to extend and will be based fully onsite.
Responsibilities :
- Determine product volume needs using historical sales and future promo strategies.
- Develop forecasts by analyzing sales trends and using statistical models in Excel and Anaplan.
- Collaborate with teams to understand the impact of product promotions on demand.
- Align demand projections with cross-functional teams.
- Present forecast analytics to Senior Leadership.
- Prepare and maintain ad-hoc demand planning reports.
- Analyze and adjust strategies based on sales performance.
- Work with Category Management partners on product sales strategies.
- Maintain key performance metrics like forecast accuracy, inventory, sales, and margin.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on launches / promotions to Category Management.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory.
- Identify opportunities to improve margin.
- Work with Category Management to minimize unproductive inventory.
Required Qualifications :
1-2 years of experience in planning, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or data analytics.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.Strong math and critical thinking skills.Ability to adapt to changing environments.Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.Experience with ERP systems and forecasting tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong team player, able to work independently and in a team environment.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
