Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a Project Engineering Manager that will oversee the design, cost estimation and plan projects for manufacturing lines. The ideal candidate will implement engineering analysis, design standards and industry codes as well as be responsible for providing their expertise for capital projects from concept to construction to commissioning. They will also lead project team members to ensure successful delivery of manufacturing-related capital projects. This is a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in Boise, Idaho.

Responsibilities :
Responsible for design, cost estimation, planning of projects for product manufacturing linesAble to interpret and implement engineering analysis, company standards as well as industry codes and standardsProvide appropriate designs, calculations, comparisons of technology, construction and design specifications, cost estimatesResponsible for machinery and construction RFP’s and contracts, requisitions, quality assuranceOversee installation and outage schedulesSupport all construction and startup efforts of projectsLead and manage subsets of projects within large-scale projectsSupply technical and supervisory engineering expertise on capital projectsResponsible for defining roles and responsibilities while directing and leading team members, contractors, and consultantsTravel up to 50% may be required and recurring stays during construction and commissioningRequirements :
BS in Engineering requiredPE License or portfolio or relevant experience required7+ years of experience in manufacturing requiredExperience with AutoCAD, 3D solid modeling software, MS Office Suite, MS Project requiredProficiency in interpreting and reading drawings in order to confirm field construction complies with design documents requiredKnowledge of applicable government, industry and insurance laws, codes, and standards requiredAdvanced level of knowledge of project management systems and procedures requiredOutstanding verbal and written skills and ability to work in a highly functional team environment requiredDetail oriented with high level of accuracy, strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving ability requiredExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail while prioritizing and handling numerous tasks requiredMS in Mechanical Engineering preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) preferred
