Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload
Perform Desktop Geospatial analysis to locate Missing Pole Assets and Pole Identification.Validate Pole Asset location using tools such as, ArcGIS Online, Map3D, Google Earth, and LidarIdentify missing records in SCE Records Management Systems (SAP, cGIS, Circuit Mapping)Review field captured photographic evidence and document when key information is foundConsolidation of research and field evidence and prepare documentation necessary to perform System of Record correctionsReview work order documentation for specific key information and document when that information is foundResearch & make recommendations on how to correct asset records that have conflicting details between field conditions and our digital records.Required Skills / Attributes
Experience working on / facilitating cross-functional project teamsSpatial capabilities including ability to read a map, decipher directions, and interpret multiple inputs of information to make logical conclusionsTwo or more years of experience identifying problem statements, root cause analysis, solution review, tracking, and reportingExperience performing technical writer functions, mapping out process flows / documentation and making recommendationsDesired Skills / Attributes
Two or more years of experience working with one or more of the following applications : AutoCAD Map 3D, ArcGIS, or ArcGIS Online or ESRITwo or more years of experience working with Microsoft Excel Functions (e.g. Vlookup, IF)Bachelor degree in Geography, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science with an emphasis in GISOperational experience within the public utility industryExperience with Records Management Systems (e.g. SAP, ESRI, ArcGIS, SAS)Experience using business applications to create and edit complex reports, graphs, and presentations
