Senior Field Service Technician

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Technician to join our client’s team in Irving, Texas. This onsite, 1-year contract position requires working 8-hour shifts with contract extension options available. The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electronic, and electrical equipment, utilizing tools like a volt meter for diagnostics. They will install, configure, and repair parking control components to ensure proper system operation. Daily tasks include outdoor terminal walkthroughs in the mornings and preventative maintenance and cleanouts in the afternoons, focusing on ticket readers and ticket feeders. The role involves dismantling and assembling small electronic components, such as coders and ticket feeders. Technicians must be flexible with scheduling, maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders, and be available for on-call support. This position requires the ability to lift and hold objects up to 50 lbs while securing them with bolts and screws. Required Skills and Background :

• 3-5 years of experience working with small electronics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems (knowledge of voltage, amperages, current and how to use a volt meter).
• Knowledge of parking control systems and their operations.
• Experience with the installation, configuration, and repair of parking control components.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions (hot / cold).
• Ability to work in high-stress situations.
• Strong ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external working relationships.
