Visual Media Specialist

The Visual Media Specialist will join a team of passionate creatives committed to shaping every touchpoint of the employee journey. Their goal is to breathe life into the Sheetz brand through work that is authentic, impactful, and deeply meaningful for our employees.

OVERVIEW

Creating imagery and stories that connect the Sheetz brand to key audiences. Through video and photos, help with marketing and promoting our product and services and conveying our culture in support of strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

1. Participate in all aspects of photography and videography - from creative concepting, shooting footage, editing and sound design to publishing for a wide variety of assignments.

2. Involvement with projects including presentations, marketing materials (print and digital), social media, websites, videos and publications.

3. Create content through images that capture the importance of our business, customers and employees.

4. Work with department leadership or collaborative team to create the film or video product.

5. Produce, develop and oversee technical tasks related to production and post production; including proper levels of calibration of cameras, audio, video recorders and other production equipment.

6. Work in the studio as part of a production team to produce live feeds, create film clips from raw footage, prepare background film or "B" rolls, and edit film as required.

7. Perform non-linear editing using Final Cut or Adobe Premiere software; design after effects as needed including motion graphics, layout, and animation.

8. Prepare video for multi-media formats including web and other digital distribution media; insert closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into videos.

9. Encode and archive videos; track video analytics.

10. Create a portfolio of narrative photography that can be used on social platforms, in brochures, and other print executions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and / or experience may be considered)

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in video / film production, digital communications, or related field required.
