Job description

The Aftermarket Planning team supports Husqvarna’s internal and external customers by managing the inventory levels within a global manufacturing and sourcing footprint. The Manager will be responsible for hands-on oversight of the P&A supply planning activities as well as develop the team and drive standardization and continuous improvements in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

What You Need to Know :

  • Lead, motivate, and develop team of supply analyst maximizing staff effectiveness and professionalism.
  • Optimize the balance of inventory, service and logistic cost across the supply chain network.
  • Develop planning activities to improve KPIs; forecast accuracy, fill rates and inventory turn rate.
  • Supplier involvement (internal and external) to ensure on time delivery and quick resolution of issues
  • Direct inventory management and replenishment efforts to achieve lowest possible inventory levels while maximizing product fill rates.
  • Investigate and implement changes to simplify processes, eliminate non value-added activity, maximize data integrity, and reduce costs.
  • Proactively support and interface closely with business managers to provide highest quality services, improve sales plan (forecast) accuracy, provide market trends.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve vendor performance programs working closely with sourcing.
  • SME - Subject matter expert for aftermarket planning process and systems

What We Are Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Supply Chain Management or related field and / or
  • 5 or more years of supply chain planning management, preferrably in aftermarket
  • 2 or more years in a management / leadership role
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, to include the ability to develop high quality working relationships
  • Strong change leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong systems aptitude in addition to applications skills (MS Office)
  • MRP / ERP systems experience, Logility experience is beneficial
  • Strategic thinking and continuous improvement mentality
  • Adept problem solving and effective decision making skills
  • Strong written / verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate a message both professionally and concisely.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Willingness to travel as required and work necessary hours to support a global business.
