At Buxmont Academy, we're seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to join our dynamic team in Pottstown, PA ! Key Responsibilities :

  • Teach secondary level mathematics, focusing on making complex concepts clear and accessible.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and confidence.
  • Utilize restorative practices to engage and inspire students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support students' academic and emotional development.

Position Details :

  • Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM (with potential for full-time if desired).
  • Compensation : $25 per hour.
  • Benefits : 401K retirement plan, free ACT 48 professional development offerings, Employee Assistance Program, and a unique opportunity to earn a free graduate certificate in restorative practices from the IIRP Graduate School.

    • Who We're Looking For :

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Math Education (or related field).
  • Teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification (we also welcome retired teachers looking to return to the classroom).
  • A genuine passion for teaching and working with secondary school students.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
