Title : Principal Security Engineer

Compensation : $160,000–$190,000 / year (depending on experience level)

Type : Full Time

Location : Hybrid 3 days a week in Tampa or Dallas

Summary : As a Lead Cyber Defense Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting critical technology environments by implementing advanced security measures, identifying and mitigating threats, and optimizing security processes. This role requires a hands-on approach, collaborating with teams across the organization to enhance security capabilities and integrate the latest defense technologies.

Responsibilities :

• Act as a top-level expert for addressing and resolving high-impact security incidents across multiple domains.
• Partner with various teams to introduce and integrate new security controls within active IT environments.
• Develop and refine security processes, leveraging automation and AI-driven improvements to reduce manual workload.
• Implement and maintain state-of-the-art security tools while continuously enhancing existing protections.
• Provide technical leadership on cybersecurity initiatives and contribute to shaping long-term defense strategies.
• Identify security vulnerabilities, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security policies.
