Job description

As the Admin & Parent Relations Principal or Vice Principal, you will assist the Centre Leader in managing key areas such as enrolment, finance, parent and external relations, marketing, estate management, safety, hygiene, security, compliance, logistics, and general administration. You will also supervise a small team of customer service officers to ensure smooth school operations. This role offers a great opportunity to develop organizational and leadership skills in a dynamic preschool environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee general administration, including management reporting, updating government subsidies, maintaining customer records, and documentation.
  • Assist in meeting enrolment and revenue targets, managing daily financial operations, monitoring budget expenditure, collecting fees, and preparing financial reports.
  • Manage customer relations, including parent engagement, enrolment processes, and general customer support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, community partners, and local organizations.
  • Support HR functions, such as staff engagement, retention, manpower planning for non-teaching staff, and HR administration.
  • Supervise estate and facility management, working with contractors on maintenance, cleanliness, and safety improvements.
  • Ensure security and safety procedures are in place, including emergency drills.
  • Provide logistics support for school events such as excursions, open houses, and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Lead and train a team of customer service officers to improve school operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field (Degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma in Leadership is a plus).
  • At least 2–3 years of administrative or operations experience, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with school management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with parents and staff.
