Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is a plus) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
4+ years of experience in electronics / high voltage laboratory environment with a record of driving failure analysis from system- to component-level
Read and interpret electrical schematics and component data sheets
Familiarity with electrical systems and components (PCBA, MOSFETs, IGBTs, Capacitors, Relays, Cable Harness, etc.) including their failure modes / mechanisms
Hands-on experience with electrical tools and methods such as Digital Multi-meter (DMM), Oscilloscopes, IV Curve Tracers, Signal Analyzer, Power Supplies, Electronic Loads, etc.
Familiarity with physical failure analysis techniques such as optical microscopy, SEM / EDX, 2D and 3D X-ray, and mechanical cross-sectioning
Experience applying problem solving tools including Root Cause Analysis, 8D reporting, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Ishikawa Fishbone Diagrams, and 5 Whys
Familiarity with at least two of the data analysis tools including Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, or equivalent
Ability to work independently as a self-starter and creates solutions with flexibility adjusting to changing priorities.
Experience in electronics industry such as automotive, consumer electronics, solar, electric vehicle, or battery
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time
