Duration : 2-month contract

Working Hours : 5 days 10 hours or 6 days 10 hours shifts – 7 AM- 5 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $37-$38 / hr, & up to 10-20 hours OT Pay $55.50 - 57 / hr ( Approx. $20k for a 2-month contract)

Job Summary :

Insight Global is seeking a Crane Operator in Pheonix, AZ. The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating a 75 Ton Hydraulic RT crane at a cement terminal to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day Duties :

  • Operate Cranes : Safely operate different types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift, move, and position materials and equipment.
  • Inspect Equipment : Conduct daily inspections of cranes and related equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
  • Load and Unload Materials : Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks, ships, or other transport vehicles.
  • Follow Safety Protocols : Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Coordinate with Team : Work closely with other team members, including riggers, signalers, and site supervisors, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain Records : Keep accurate records of crane operations, including load weights, distances moved, and any incidents or issues encountered.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance : Conduct routine maintenance on cranes, such as lubricating parts, checking fluid levels, and replacing worn components.
  • Assist with Site Preparation : Help prepare the worksite by setting up barriers, signage, and other safety measures.

Must Haves :

  • Certification : NCCER Certification or NCCCO Certification.
  • Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating a 75 Ton Hydraulic RT crane in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Attention to Detail : High level of attention to detail to ensure safe and precise crane operations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise during crane operations.
  • Driver's License : Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
