Job description

Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support and instill a safety culture in the team that is in compliance with Oceaneering’s Life Safety Rules and HSE programs.
  • Assist the Planning Manager in the development of maintenance projects, schedules, and procedures.
  • Develop retest schedules following maintenance periods and track completion.
  • Draft, submit, and track all LARS for asset maintenance.
  • Evaluate maintenance Liaison Action Request (LAR) impact on rescue assets.
  • Assign and track action items directed from LAR responses.
  • Draft and submit Departures from Specification (DFS) and evaluate impact on rescue assets.
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW) to communicate detailed component requirements to vendors to support request for quote (RFQ).
  • Manage project-related information and documents by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored within the product data management system.
  • Assure effective communication within the planning team and with supporting groups to ensure key information is properly disseminated amongst stakeholders.
  • Document meeting minutes and distribute action items, due dates, and responsible parties.
  • Assist in the management, monitoring, and reporting of special projects
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of daily and weekly project status information.
  • Assist in the management and monitoring of planning product workflows.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation information as directed.
  • Assist the Planning Manager in the development and execution of any necessary training for project staff.
  • Help resolve project conflicts, identify resource requirements, and align the planning team on project scope.
  • Perform reviews of Controlled Work Packages to ensure regulatory requirements are met and scope of maintenance supports the maintenance availability.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS :

  • A 2-year degree in a project management related field, or equivalent experience or qualifications.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and experience applying them to a project.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite software. Experience with project management scheduling software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera (P6)) is desired.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to organize and present ideas in a logical manner. Some experience writing reports and preparing procedures.
  • Reliable team player, with good organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Has a good attendance record, an ability to plan effectively and a good track record for meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude.Willing to learn new skills, share experiences and take on roles of increasing responsibility.Is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
