The HR Manager will oversee the Human Resources operations, ensuring that all HR policies and procedures align with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves managing the HR team, including the HR Generalist, to support recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR strategy. Key Responsibilities :

  • Leadership and Management : Supervise and mentor the HR Generalist, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient HR operations. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization’s HR needs and objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning : Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that staffing needs are met in a timely manner. Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals. Partner with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Employee Relations and Performance Management : Manage complex employee relations issues, providing guidance to managers and resolving conflicts effectively. Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans. Implement programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations. Manage the organization’s response to regulatory audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration : Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and cost-effective. Conduct regular compensation reviews and make recommendations for salary adjustments to maintain market competitiveness. Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and compensation matters.
  • HR Strategy and Reporting : Develop and monitor HR metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Prepare reports for senior management on HR activities, including recruitment, retention, and compliance. Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide HR insights to support organizational goals.
  • Training and Development : Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for all staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Identify skills gaps and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees. Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.
  • Health and Safety : Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are in place and followed. Work with the occupational health team to manage employee health issues and workers’ compensation cases.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, healthcare regulations, and HR best practices.
  • HR certification is preferred.
