• Partners with Information Services functional groups to communicate and clarify business needs, contribute to the development of long-range system plans and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs.
• Provides proactive analysis and recommendations that will assist in streamlining operations , increasing efficiency, improving productivity, and reducing costs.
• Provides project management leadership to initiatives and process reviews; leads best practice analysis, recommendations, implementation and measurement, project status, and metrics reporting functions.
• Builds an intimate knowledge of assigned customers’ activities to proactively identify opportunities to apply new and / or improved technologies to business processes.
• Assists assigned customers and project teams with issues such as priority-setting, facilitation, and contract brokerage to overcome obstacles, meet budgetary expectations, and achieve specific project-related goals.
• Coordinates research and development activities maintaining solid business relationships with other companies and industry organizations associated with research and development. This includes but is not limited to :
• Making recommendations regarding operating methods based on best practice feedback from industry associations and other research data analysis
• Providing information on technical trends and competitors’ practices relevant to the assigned business client.
• Identifying enabling technologies based on customer requirements
• Seeking ways to apply technology to business processes
• Assists in implementing, monitoring, and measuring change impacts; develops metrics reports for determining successes / failures.
