Behavioral Health Consultant - LCPC, LCSW

Job Requirements

Clinically licensed in the state of Illinois with 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health-related field.

Licenses may include : LCSW-C, LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LMHC, PhD, PsyD.

2+ years of experience in community mental health, FQHC, or inpatient psychiatric settings.

Experience with complex government-sponsored populations preferred.

Proficiency in electronic health records and advanced computer skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, group, and post-discharge follow-up behavioral health therapy.

Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Serve as the clinical behavioral health subject matter expert within the interdisciplinary care team.

Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation for members in crisis situations.

Advocate for clinical care using evidence-based approaches such as trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.

Maintain communication with primary care providers and psychiatrists for all members seen for therapy.

Complete documentation of patient care services in electronic health records within 1 business day.

Develop and maintain group therapy curriculum appropriate to the member population.
