Position Description : The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will support the Program Manager and play a key role in contract performance, including implementation, technical assistance and life-cycle support. The DPM will be an authorized interface with the Government Program office and coordinating the interaction between the MAPC technical team and MAPC business functions to develop and monitor spend plans, schedules and deliverables of large production projects for a US Government customer.
Responsibilities :
- Shall be responsible for the oversight of all administrative functions, planning, organization, and control of resources to complete all deliverables and services.
- Manage and monitor the cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, materials, security, deliverables, quality, and metric objectives and milestones of the contract.
- Collaborating and coordinating with stakeholders to gather information, define complex work problems, and will be directly responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and completion of all tasks and contractual requirements
- Coordinate, collaborate and effectively communicate with the Gov't Program office regarding potential problems, issues, and or risk that may adversely affect the completion of task activities and deliverables.
- Shall collect, analyze, and maintain task performance metrics to measure the execution of all businesses and operational activities.
- Shall provide inputs to bi-weekly program reviews.
- Shall provide monthly status reports and requested ad hoc reports.
- Remain knowledgeable in the customer mission areas, application / solution development, network properties, Government policy and standards, and emerging hardware / software products in compliance with the Navy's / DoD standards and policies.

Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, business administration, or other relevant fields.Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the government defense industry.Five (5) or more years of program management experience managing Federal Government programsProven history of successful, progressive managerial responsibilitiesExperience working with and briefing senior executivesExperience managing a team of diverse skill sets and experience levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteDoD Secret security clearanceDesired Qualifications :
PMP or other recognized Program Management certificationExperience supporting OSD, Joint, MAJCOM, and / or Headquarters staffProficiency with automation and dashboarding toolsActive DoD Top Secret / SCI clearanceExecutive-level support experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agenciesProgram management experience demonstrating the ability to collaborate and deliver contractual services in a high op-tempo environment, coordinating between multi-disciplined functions of internal and external organizations.Salary / Benefits Info
