POSITION SUMMARY : We are looking for a dedicated Back of House Support team member to assist our kitchen staff in providing high-quality food and service. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, contributing to a successful dining experience for our guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed by chefs and kitchen staff.
- Ensure all food storage areas are organized and properly stocked with ingredients and supplies.
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils during and after meal service.
- Support the kitchen staff with kitchen setup and breakdown tasks.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies; notify supervisors when stock is low.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the kitchen management.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS :
Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proper communication skills to connect effectively with co-workers and guests.Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Must have the ability / stamina to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.Ability to stand / walk for 8-10 hours per day.Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.Will frequently stand, walk, reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.Must be able to tolerate potential allergens : peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy.Report to work in a complete required uniform.Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the restaurant.Meet personal schedule requirements punctually.Be courteous, friendly and pleasant.BENEFITS :
