From English learners, multilingual students, bilingual students and dual language learners who are struggling to read or write, Summit K12’s online, standards-based supplemental curriculum will close gaps and ensure growth for all students.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Systems / IT Administrator to manage and support our company’s IT infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring smooth IT operations and delivering excellent support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset, capable of handling both day-to-day IT needs and long-term IT process improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- IT Onboarding / Offboarding : Set up laptops, accounts, and access for new employees, and ensure smooth IT offboarding processes for departing employees.
- IT Support : Act as the primary internal IT contact for employees, providing desktop support and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- IT Equipment Management : Own and maintain all IT processes, including equipment inventory, tracking, and procurement to ensure availability and proper usage. Install and maintain mobile device management solutions on all equipment.
- Process Ownership : Develop, document, and optimize IT-related workflows to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- System Maintenance : Ensure all IT equipment and systems are functioning effectively and up-to-date with necessary software, patches, and security protocols.

Location : This is a hybrid position based out of our Austin, TX office, requiring employees to be physically present 3-4 days per week.
Requirements :
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
2-3+ years experience in IT administration or a similar role.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Strong technical skills in desktop support, hardware setup, and system troubleshooting with PCs (and Mac systems as a plus).Proficiency in managing data flows between systems, including exporting, modifying, and importing CSV files.Experience in creating and utilizing custom scripts to automate and streamline IT workflows.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and processes.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective support to employees of all technical skill levels.Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT operations.ADVANCED QUALIFICATIONS :
Familiarity with managing IT systems in a growing organization.Experience with IT process documentation and workflow optimization.
