Job description

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Systems Administrator to work at our Corporate location in Dearborn, MI .

The Systems Administrator will coordinate activities related to the installation, configuration, and optimization of computer systems including networks, servers, and phone and data systems.

Salary : $66,000

Responsibilities

The Systems Administrator will :

  • Install, configure, and maintain network systems : firewalls, routers, switches, APs, SD-WAN etc.
  • Install, configure, and maintain phone system- back-end servers and handsets.
  • Install, configure, and maintain on-premises and virtual servers
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical hardware, network drops, internal and external WIFI antennas etc.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and other network problems
  • Monitor systems' performance, troubleshoot issues and deploy solutions
  • Plan and implement upgrades and patches
  • Evaluate new technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance
  • Ensure the security of related systems
  • Ensure the security of the IT / OT infrastructure using various EDR tools i.e. MS Defender, CS Falcon, Cayosoft Guardian.
  • Ensure data backups are conducted, and disaster recovery plans are in place
  • Monitor performance of in-house systems
  • Install and upgrade software and maintain licenses
  • Analyze performance and use and makes recommendations to enhance system performance
  • Identify the system needs for new sites and coordinate related installation activities
  • Perform other projects and assignments as defined by the supervisor

    • Skills

    The ideal candidate will have :

  • Related Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of FortiNet, FortiAP, Ubiquiti and other networking equipment.
  • Knowledge of WAN management and optimization products such as Silver Peak
  • Knowledge of Ubiquiti, Cradle Point, MiTel, and VOIP systems
  • Knowledge of Crowdstrike security platform.
  • Knowledge of SIEM..
  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure AD
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012+
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with VMware vSphere
  • Experience with administering Active Directory, DNS, Domain Controllers, File & Print servers, etc.
  • Ability to travel domestic and international
  • Ability to be on-call after hours
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to climb ladders to install, configure, and repair equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, for extended periods, lift 50lbs, and climb
