Qualifications

High school diploma; ASE Certification desired

3+ years’ experience as a diesel mechanic

Fleet diesel and gas experience or trade school training highly desirable.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Own your complete set of hand tools and safety shoes.

U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.

Proficient operating standard transmission vehicles

Valid Class A or B CDL issued by resident state or willing to obtain within 45 days of hire.

Compliant with DOT and Company requirements

Understanding of all FMCSA requirements and able to pass an annual PM certification.

Safely perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers

Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system, and mechanisms of a diesel engine

In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms

Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment

Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics

Here’s What You’ll Do!

Complete maintenance on all company-owned equipment including tractors and trailers.

Conduct regular and preventative maintenance.

Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose.

Perform minor and complex repairs.
