Description

JOB SUMMARY :

Create structural repair and modification documentation including detailed repair instructions and substantiation analysis in support of FAA certification for all Textron Aviation Propeller and Jet aircraft models.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Review damage data, Engineering Drawings and Digital Data to ensure efficient load path and adequate structural strength and stiffness for repairs and modifications.
  • Interface with Customers, Customer Service, and Service Center Personnel.
  • Coordinate cross functionally to support business needs.
  • Develop detailed repair installation procedures.
  • Provide Engineering recommendations for minor repair development and dispositions.
  • Develop Standard Repairs to be published in Field SRMs.
  • Analyze modification packages to ensure adequate structural strength and substantiate for certification requirements.
  • Utilize Finite Element Software to solve complex structural problems.
  • Prepare Structural Reports in support of FAA compliance findings on aircraft repairs and modifications.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree required in : Aerospace EngineeringMechanical EngineeringOther related field

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity
  • Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
  • Must be able to manage projects of various size and scope.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and CATIA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Previous test experience preferred
